MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES AND CRITERIA
STUDENT MEMBER (SIFP)
The Institute’s student membership is designed to give opportunity to the young ones to commence their journal of being an Islamic Finance expect at their young age. All student members can proceed with the Institute Apprenticeship Qualification Framework in Associate Islamic Finance Technician (AIFT).
Application for Student Membership to be sent to the Institute together with required fee.
Qualification: Applicant should have at least 5 O’level Credit including Math & English.

RESEARCH MEMBER (RIFP)
Research Members are allowed by the Institute Governing Council Membership Guidance note to apply for the Graduate Conversion Course Leading to the Associate Membership of the Institute. Application for Research Membership to be sent to the Institute together with required fee.
Qualification: Post-Graduate and PhD students of Universities in Africa

GRADUATE MEMBER (GIFP)
Graduate Members are allowed by the Institute Governing Council Membership Guidance note, to apply for the Graduate Conversion Course Leading to the Associate Membership of the Institute. Application for Graduate Membership must be sent to the Institute together with required fee.
Qualification: BSc/HND/ACA/ACCA/CIBN/OND, AAT, Diploma, Advance Diploma, Post-Graduate Qualifications of Universities and or Professional bodies are approved by the Institute Governing Council.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER (AIFP)
Associate Members are allowed by the Institute Governing Council Membership Guidance note, to upgrade into the Fellow Membership status of the Institute upon satisfying the minimum work experience requirement of 5years. Application for Associate Membership to be sent to the Institute together with required fee. IIFP Graduate Conversion.Qualification: BSc/HND/ACA/ACCA/CIBN/Advance Diploma, Post-Graduate Qualifications of Universities and or Professional bodies approved by the Institute Governing Council.
FELLOW MEMBER (FIFP)
IIFP Graduate Conversion. Application for Fellow Membership to be sent to the Institute together with required fee. The requirement for fellow member is at least 7 years work experience in relevant fieldQualification: AIFP / BSc / HND / ACA / ACCA / CIBN / Advance Diploma, Post-Graduate Qualifications of Universities and or Professional bodies approved by the Institute Governing Council
HONORARY MEMBER (HFIPF)
It is granted to persons who have made indelible mark in their chosen field of endeavors. The person must uphold high ethical value and sound conducts.
